The concept of Tank18 began over a very long lunch in the winter of 2011 at Duarte’s in Pescadero, CA, when a group of tech heads from the Bay Area decided what they were doing at that very moment was the life experience we all strive for: wine, food, and fun! Decades spent creating faux experiences and products in the virtual landscape of the Silicon Valley were no longer enough for founders Patrick MacCartee and Cheryln Chin. This new longing to create something physical, something real, and something fun, could no longer be ignored. Wine. Food. Fun. These three simple words are the driving force of everything we do here at Tank18.

The Tank18 Tasting Room is located at the winery in San Francisco’s SOMA district, bringing the country to The City. We offer Wine Flights: a casual tasting of our 4 wines, accompanied by a cheese sampler plate. Wine Flights are designed for one person, at a cost of $15 each. One Wine Flight is redeemable with a purchase of 6 or more bottles of wine. You can also purchase a glass or bottle of your favorite Tank18 wine to enjoy with various bites from our menu in our relaxing lounge area.
