LOS ANGELES: The fourth annual AT&T Shape will take place June 22-23 at Warner Bros. The event, which focuses on the convergence of technology and entertainment, will feature speakers including Magic Leap C.E.O. Rony Abovitz, actress Laverne Cox, and N.B.A. commissioner Adam Silver.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Key West’s 39th annual Hemingway Days, celebrating Ernest Hemingway’s Key West legacy, will take place July 16-21. 

Ember, an American bistro from chef Brad Kilgore, has opened in the Miami Design District. The 3,200-square-foot restaurant seats 90 guests in a main dining room and six guests at a chef’s counter.
