BOSTON: The seventh annual Boston TechJam will take place June 13 at City Hall Plaza. 

LAS VEGAS: Hakkasan Group has appointed two new executive chefs. Corporate executive chef Andrew Yeo will lead culinary worldwide of the Cantonese brands in the Asian Luxury collection, which include Hakkasan, Yauatcham, and Ling Ling. Chen-Wei Chan, executive chef of special projects in the U.S., will lead culinary for Hakkasan’s U.S. locations. 

LOS ANGELES: The Recording Academy has appointed national officers of the Board of Trustees. Record producer Harvey Mason Jr. has been elected chair of the Board of Trustees; managing partner of Placement Music Tammy Hurt will serve as vice chair; veteran music executive Terry Hemmings was re-elected secretary and treasurer; and recording artist and C.E.O. of Swan Songs Christine Albert will serve as chair emeritus.

NEW YORK: The White Horse Tavern has reopened after undergoing renovations. Operated by restaurateur Eytan Sugarman, the historic venue also has a revamped menu helmed by new executive chef Ed Szymanski. 

Christie Brinkley will host the annual Polo Hamptons Match & Cocktail Party on June 29 at the Maria and Kenneth Fishel Estate. The event is presented by Social Life Magazine.

ST. LOUIS: The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis has debuted a $3.1 million renovation, which includes enhancements to the Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge and the Ritz-Carlton Suite. The revamped suite can hold meetings and events for as many as 20 people. 

TORONTO: Westbury National, an audiovisual and event production company, has named Jamie Richardson as vice president of sales and business development for event and show services.
