COAST TO COAST: Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has partnered with the Trevor Project to celebrate pride with a drag brunch event series called Kimpton Off the Record Presents: Brunch Out With Trevor. The events will take place June 29 at Kimpton Hotel Eventi in conjunction with WorldPride; August 11 at Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt in conjunction with Austin Pride; and October 19 at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia in conjunction with Glaad’s Spirit Day on October 17.

CHICAGO: The 26th annual Chicago Underground Film Festival, presented by I.F.P. Chicago, will take place June 5-9.

The Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile has opened Reviver, a bar and lobby venue. The venue features the Library, a 500-square-foot space that can host semiprivate events and meetings for as many as 50 guests. 

LOS ANGELES: The American Film Institute will present Denzel Washington with the 47th A.F.I. Life Achievement Award on June 6 at the Dolby Theatre. The event will be televised on TNT June 20.

NEW YORK: Le Jardinier, a vegetable-driven restaurant, opens at 610 Lexington Avenue today. The first of two concepts in the bi-level venue is helmed by chef Alain Verzeroli and designed by French architect Joseph Dirand. The restaurant seats 62 guests. 

Convene, a company that provides co-working and event spaces, has partnered with Hydra Studios to provide wellness studios at Convene locations. The first will be located at Convene’s space in Midtown.

WASHINGTON: Washingtonian: Goodies Frozen Custard & Treats is launching Dr. Feel Good’s Prosecco and Cocktail Van, a mobile bar that will be available for private events and festivals. 

CSI DMC has promoted A.J. Bownas to general manager of its Washington headquarters. Bownas was previously director of event management.
