NEW YORK: LEAF, a city-wide flower festival, will take place for the first time in June 2020. To celebrate the announcement, New York-based floral designers including Lewis Miller Design, East Olivia, and B Floral have created pop-up installations for #NYFlowerWeek, running through June 16. Floral installations can be found across Manhattan at locations including the Atlas at Rockefeller Center, Flatiron Plaza, and Joe’s Jeans.

TORONTO: Italian Contemporary Film Festival’s I.F.F.C. MODA, a film, food, and fashion event, will take place June 19 at Square One.

Wild Blueberry Association of North America’s annual Wild Blueberry Festival will take place August 11 at Evergreen Brick Works.

WASHINGTON: Hamilton Hotel has opened Via Sophia, a southern Italian restaurant, and Society, a cocktail bar and lounge. Via Sophia seats 96 guests in a main dining room and 20 at a bar, while Society seats 14 guests. The openings are part of the hotel’s multimillion-dollar renovation.
