I don’t even know what to write about anymore…
During each week, I passively observe my surroundings and patiently wait for something to happen that warrants being shared in this intro section of the newsletter.
Sometimes it happens early in the week. Sometimes it doesn’t happen until Sunday night at the final hour. But usually, something happens. Something that strikes me as interesting or something that is just begging to be written about.
During this time on a Monday, I usually reflect on that thing and attempt to conjure up an introduction that is witty and charming to share with you all.
… However this week, the “thing” never came.
My life is now a series of the same few activities performed over and over. Last week, these activities included finishing a puzzle, watching Schitt’s Creek on Netflix, staring out my window, reading various books (Emma, Ready Player One, and now Little Fires Everywhere), and perfecting my skincare routine.
And that’s about it. No profound thoughts. No mind-blowing observations.
This upcoming week, I promise I will find something that ignites an intellectually stimulating conversation. But thank you for allowing me to talk about not having anything to talk about (very meta). Thank you for allowing me to be human and off my game. I feel like we are all a little off our game, no?
The constant support I have gotten from the Weekly Soundcheck subscribers (Weekly Soundcheckers? Checkers? If you have a good name for yourselves, let me know) has been incredible!
I love sharing our interests, swapping stories, and building relationships with each other. I hope you all have a great week! Without any further ado…
Here is the Weekly Soundcheck!

Our world as we know it has changed. This industry that we are navigating is not the familiar landscape that we have grown accustomed to. ?Silly Scientific Findings
So last week I shared a picture of Karmen’s pup because I subscribe to the idea that animals make our lives better and more exciting. Well, this just takes that idea to a whole new level…
An animal sanctuary in Silicon Valley will let you Invite a llama or goat to your next corporate Zoom meeting or video call for under $100!
My team better watch out! I just got my stimulus check so I am armed and dangerous. ??
